RSI has a long tradition of developing recycling as a tool to create jobs and provide economic and environmental alternatives to traditional disposal for local communities. By being active members in legislative initiatives to providing training programs for customers, local businesses and schools, Recycling Services supports their community in a variety of ways.

Meet and Greets
At the start of a program, Recycing Services can set up a table in the lobby or entrance of your building to provide information and recycling education to people who are passing through. This is a great way for buildling employees to become familar with the recycling program and to learn more about how they can get involved. This can also be a great event for anyone who wants to energize a building in recycling or to gauge employee interest.

Tenant Presentation
When a building-wide recycling program is put into place, Recycling Services will set up a time to train all building tenants so that they understand the recycling program goals and processes. The more people know about what they can do to be part of the program, the more successful it will be. We also provide general recycling education and training to people on the industry's latest trends.

E-Scrap Drives
One way to quickly get rid of old or unused electronics in your building is to host a one-time Recycling Services E-Scrap Drive. Our friendly staff will set up an area in the lobby or front of your building for people to drop off their recyclable materials throughout the designated timeframe.

Cleaner Training
The cleaning staff play an important role in each program and need to be properly educated. Before starting a program, Recycling Services will train the building cleaning staff as well as provide them with the tools and materials they need to get started. We always provide all materials in English, Spanish and Polish.

School Programs
Recycling Services can help teachers and principals alike teach children the value of recycling. We can provide educational sessions, materials and demonstrations to schools as well as schedule field trips to our plant.
